From Stockholm to Portland: Alpha Destroyer Forges a Global Sound at Opal Studio!
Here at Opal Studio, we're buzzing with excitement about a truly electrifying international collaboration that's been cooking in our control room! We've had the immense privilege of hosting some incredible talent, bridging continents to create a sound that's as powerful as it is unique.
Get ready to mark your calendars, because a brand new project called Alpha Destroyer is poised to unleash their debut EP later in 2025, and believe us when we say, you won't want to miss it!
This groundbreaking venture is a testament to the global nature of music and the power of artistic connection. It brings together the undeniable raw energy of Martin Sweet, renowned guitarist and producer from the iconic Swedish sleaze rock band Crashdiet, with the visionary force of Eric Sexton Dorsett, founder of Alpha Destroyer.
Eric, a true powerhouse with a knack for crafting heavy, infectious anthems, has found the perfect sonic partners in this project. Joining Eric and Martin on this journey are three more titans of the rock world: the immensely talented guitarist and producer Kevin Hahn, drummer Ryan McPhaill, and none other than Kelly LeMieux, the thunderous bassist from the legendary rock band Buckcherry!
The fusion of these incredible musicians – from Martin's signature Swedish rock edge, to Kevin's masterful production, Eric's driving vision, and Kelly's undeniable groove – has been nothing short of explosive here at Opal Studio. We've witnessed firsthand the magic that happens when diverse musical backgrounds converge with a shared passion for creating something truly special.
Stay tuned to our blog and social media channels for more updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and sneak peeks as Alpha Destroyer prepares to launch their debut EP. We're incredibly proud to be a part of this international musical journey, and we can't wait for you all to experience the powerhouse sound they've created right here at Opal Studio!
